2016 Awards

Award presentations will be held at the following times:

09:45am  Half Marathon Category Awards
10:45am  Relay Marathon Category Awards
11:30am  Full Marathon Category Awards 

* Checks for monetary winners will be cut the same day. Winners must have a valid Federal or State ID (Drivers License, Passport, etc.) on them at the event in order for checks to be processed. 
*Recipients can pick up their prize anytime through end of event at the information booth once their name has been announced.

*Recipients that earn a Category Award but do not pick them up on the day of the event can contact the Parks Department at (956) 681-3333 for prize verification and pick up instructions.


Overall Full Marathon Men’s & Overall Full Marathon Women’s:

1st Place – $750
2nd Place – $500
3rd Place – $ 250

Overall Half Marathon Men’s & Overall Half Marathon Women’s:

1st Place – $250
2nd Place – $100
3rd Place – $50

1st, 2nd and 3rd by Gender & Age Category:

Ages 19 & below

Ages 20 – 29

Ages 30 – 39

Ages 40 – 49

Ages 50 – 59

Ages 60 – 69

Ages 70 & above


Top Relay Team


Open (Any mix of age & gender)
Junior (14-19 years)
Masters (20-39 years)
Grand Masters (40-59 years)
Seniors (60 & over)
Military/Law Enforcement/Fire
Commercial (all team members from the same company)

*High school and collegiate athletes should be aware of the effects of accepting cash prizes. If cash prizes are accepted, this may affect your eligibility.
