Get ready to race, connect, and celebrate at the McAllen Triathlon and the concurrent Arbor Day Festival held at Municipal Park. The athletic action kicks off with a 250-meter (0.37-mile) swim at the Municipal Pool, followed by a fast 20-kilometer (12.4-mile) out-and-back bike course from the pool to SH 107 via Bicentennial Boulevard. Competitors then wrap up with a 5-kilometer (3.1-mile) run heading south on Bicentennial to Pecan and north to Nolana, ultimately crossing the finish line back at the Municipal Pool.

Beyond the race, participants and spectators can enjoy a vibrant community celebration featuring tree giveaways, environmental education booths, local vendors, live music, children’s activities, food trucks, and community organization showcases. Emphasizing a commitment to the local environment, a percentage of the McAllen Triathlon’s revenue will be proudly contributed to Keep McAllen Beautiful as part of this special partnership.
