MXLAN Neon Nights 5K is an electrifying neon night run filled with high-energy music, vibrant colors, and good vibes. This exciting event takes participants through the heart of the MXLAN Summer Art & Music Festival, a celebration of Latinx cultural influence—past, present, and future—at the McAllen Convention Center. After crossing the finish line, keep the fun going by enjoying the festival’s lively atmosphere. Runners are encouraged to wear bright colors and face paint to make the night even more vibrant. The race serves as the thrilling kick-off to the 2025-2026 McAllen Marathon Running Series!

Location: McAllen Convention Center – Ballroom Lobby
ⓘ Packet pickup will not be available on race day. If you are unable to attend the Packet Pick-Up event, you may send a representative on your behalf. The representative must have a copy of your valid driver’s license or photo ID that indicates your date of birth.

Additional Information
- If the event is cancelled or rescheduled due to any reason beyond the control of the organizer, the entry fee will NOT be refunded to the runner.
- We realize that things come up and prevent our participants from running and/or they change their mind about which event they want to participate in. We are happy to accommodate any transfer requests (participant to participant and event to event), but the last day to submit these requests will be 14 days prior to race day. Please complete a transfer request by emailing us to marathon@mcallen.net
